Lenita & Andre's Wedding In Mexico!
Lenita and Andre were married at Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort in Cancun, Mexico. They are from Chicago, so I didn't get to meet them until the day before their wedding. So of course I was thrilled to find out that they are so sweet and so much fun! You can see their slideshow here.
On the day of the wedding we met Lenita bright and early at the spa. Lenita is so pretty and the stylist did a great job with her hair and makeup.
Lenita and Andre have such great family and friends who were so nice and fun to be around. This is Lenita's niece Tianni (sp?) who was just a bundle of cuteness!
And her pretty flower basket - the flowers were gorgeous. Tianni was a pro at scattering flower petals down the aisle.
Lenita as she heads out to the carriage...
Check out the fun carriage that delivered Lenita to the gazebo. It was so romantic, and everyone loved it!
Mexican wedding ceremonies begin with the signing of documents to make the marriage legal. Lenita and Andre also had a family member who is a minister follow with a religious service.
Lenita and Andre as they leave the gazebo as Mr. & Mrs. Williams!
Although the weather was beautiful - a bright sunny day at noon is not the best for taking photos. But you can't tell that from looking at these two. They managed to look stunning even with the bright sun beating down on them!
We even got a few good shots on the beach before heading back to the cocktail reception. We had to sweet talk Andre a bit to get him to take off his shoes and hit the beach. But once he got going, he was a great sport!
Totally worth the sandy feet, huh?
Lenita and Andre treated their wedding guests to a mariachi band during the cocktail reception. As we were wrapping up family photos, the band came over and serenaded them. I think Andre likes that sombrero!
Because it was hot outside (hard to believe when it's so cold here), the reception dinner was held inside the resort ballroom. Everything was wonderful. Lenita and Andre were barely seated when the glasses started clinking...you know what that means!
And lots of dancing...the bride and groom's first dance...
Lenita's sorority sisters circled around her for a sweet song and dance...
...and then they really started to get down! You know I love dance shots! :)
Thanks Lenita and Andre for allowing me to be a part of your fun day! And thanks to my friend Josie who went with me to help shoot! :)

LOVE the beach shots with her veil blowing in the breeze! Very romantic shots all the way through.
That looks like SO much fun! I love the reception shots and how they transition in the slide show. So elegantly done, Jill. Beautiful shots too -- I love the carriage and the couple shots!
