14 Reasons to Trash Your Dress at the Beach!

Maybe…just maybe…your bridesmaids will get to reuse their dress. But let’s face it, you probably won’t be wearing your wedding dress to the next party you attend. Most brides have the dress cleaned and then store it in the depths of their closet where it is never seen again. This beautiful dress (that you probably spent quite a bit of money on and only wore a few hours) is dying to get out of your closet…and aren’t you dying to have some fun in it?? Well…now is your chance to schedule your “Trash the Dress” session.

Although we probably won’t destroy the dress, and you may even be able to have it cleaned again, this session is all about not being afraid to sit in alleys, lean on walls, wade in water…whatever you have in mind! The idea isn’t really to trash your dress – the idea is just to have fun in it without worrying about keeping it pristine!

This weekend I went to Savannah to trash some dresses. Here a few pics from the beach. You would never know that the temperature was in the 40s - what brave girls!

More to come! I will be posting pics of trashing the dress in the swamp a little later! :)

Jill, these turned out fabulous! I love all of them, but the one of Jennifer kicking the water on the beach was my favorite. She totally looks like she was having a blast despite the fact that the water so painfully cold!~

It was nice meeting you, and I hope to see you in the future. Hugs

That's such a cool idea. My faves are 10, 11 and 12 -- starting with the foot pointing and surfer dude in the background. Love the composition on that one, and the look on her face. Can't believe how cold it was! None of them look cold at ALL! Nice work, as always, Jill.

Hey Jill!
I loved looking at these. what fun!
What I love about them most is they are unique and make you feel like you are there as you look at them.
