Elizabeth & Greg's Charleston Wedding

Elizabeth and Greg are both doctors who came to Charleston for their wedding. They met when Greg was Elizabeth’s fellow (boss). Just like a true-life Gray’s Anatomy! Well…maybe not, but that is how I like to imagine it! :) ha

After you check out their photos below, you can see their webshow here.

The day started with everyone getting ready in Elizabeth’s hotel room. Elizabeth has a great sense of style, and her beautiful Jenny Lee Couture dress and cute Kate Spade shoes were perfect for her!

Elizabeth and her bridesmaids were made even more beautiful by their fabulous hair stylist and makeup artist. Juliet did the best job that I have ever seen on hair! And Leslie did an incredible job with their makeup - she really made their skin glow! My new destination wedding clients will be happy to know that these stylists are available for travel.

This is Greg with his groomsmen. Greg is so funny that it’s hard to take pictures because I’m laughing so much.

Before the ceremony, the guys were forced to wait inside a tiny room not much bigger than a closet. It was hysterical to see them squeezed in there playing some kind of crazy card game.

When Elizabeth and the girls arrived we went outside for a few quick pictures. They were great at braving the cold! (Forty degrees is SO cold in Charleston!) I love the green and brown!

St. Luke’s Chapel
is a beautiful chapel that is filled with gorgeous stained glass.

After the ceremony, everyone headed over to the reception in cool British cabs.

The reception was at Lowndes Grove Plantation and Luke and Dana of Luke Wilson Special Events kept everything running smoothly and made everything look fabulous.

I was a little disappointed that Greg didn’t arrange for Fifty Cent to play at their reception in honor of their first ever dance, (ha) but the band was great and Elizabeth and Greg glided skillfully around the floor to “What a Wonderful World”.

There was lots of laughter throughout the night…

And of course…there were lots of great dance moves as well!

Well done Jill. For any people thinking about using Jill, I would suggest you stop waiting and book her.

Disclosure: I didn't have to pay her, I was just along for the ride, but from that slide show, it looks like she caught all the right moments, and in the right lighting.
