Who you callin' shortcake?
It's time for a new contest. For some reason, all of my contests seem to involve food. Before watching fireworks tonight, Brian and I stopped by Cold Stone Creamery for ice cream. I had to get the Who You Callin’ Shortcake? that is made with strawberry ice cream, yellow cake, graham cracker pie crusts, strawberries and whipped topping. Yuuuummmmy!
So - I thought that a $10 gift certificate to Cold Stone Creamery was in order for this month's contest.
To win the gift certificate - just leave a comment and tell me the year the first Cold Stone Creamery opened (I graduated from high school that year).
This contest is open to anyone: friends, client, random blog stalkers, etc!

Hi Jill! CSC was founded in 1988 with it's first store opening that year in beautiful Tempe, AZ. First franchise store was some years later, 1995, in Scottsdale. I LOVE Arizona! NOw, they've made it all the way over to the shores of SC!!
I love Cold Stone! It was started in 1988, but I first ate at one in maybe 2001 or so.

I'm going to go with what everyone else said, 1988! Gosh, I LOVE COLD STONE. This is why I can't go vegan. Staying vegetarian still lets me have Cold Stone. mmmmmmmmm yum! My favorite is Chocolate ice cream with brownies and Heath bar in a chocolate covered waffle bowl. :-)
Me too 1988, one problem is even if you gave me that gift certificate i don't think we have any csc in El Paso.

jill, that sinful place opened in 1988. which by the way would be one year EARLIER than i graduated from high school. hmmmm now....

hmmm, 1988, there's a cold stone 2 miles down the road from us! Love your 4th of July pick, that sounds like an awesome icecream combination!
Yum!!! My favorite would have to be coffee ice cream with kit-kat and snickers bits....mmmm... Oh, yeah! The answer is...1988. Did I win??? :-) Haven't had CS ice cream in a while...and, its so good! Great pick for the 4th!
