Deanna & Matthew's Cinco de Mayo Wedding
Deanna and Matthew were married Saturday on Skidaway Island. I'm so glad that their wedding was lots of fun - I was totally under the weather, but their festive evening kept me going! You can see their slideshow here. When the slideshow ends you will be prompted to sign in at Pictage where you can see all of the photos.
We started the day at a beautiful home on Skidaway Island where Deanna was staying. She slipped into her dress and got ready to go see Matthew.
I took a few detail photos while I was there, including this shot of Matthew's ring.
Once Deanna was ready, I left to go meet Matthew and deliver a letter from his sweet bride-to-be.
Then it was time for Deanna and Matthew to see each other for the first time. I always love seeing the groom's face when he sees his bride!
After Deanna and Matthew had spent some time together we made our way to Delegal Creek where the ceremony was held. Deanna went upstairs to put on her veil and pin her fathers boutonniere.
The ceremony was so pretty overlooking the creek. Afterwards, everyone was transported to the Plantation for the reception. Because it was Cinco de Mayo, their were festive touches throughout the evening.
They even toasted with margaritas in champagne flutes!

Cute, personalized macaras at each place setting...
Towards the end of the night, they took turns with the pinatas...so much fun!

LOVE that ring shot! And all the emotions you captured (especially dad when getting pinned)!
In any other context, that last shot of the cake on the floor would have been DISASTROUS! ;-) Thank goodness it was a pinata!
